Sustainability at Trolmen’s Bed & Breakfast

All food we serve is 100% vegan, and organic whenever possible. This reduces its negative impact on the environment and the climate. We cook everything we can ourselves and use vegetables, fruit and berries both from our own gardens and whatever we can find in the forests around us.

All cleaning products we use have recognised eco labels/certifications.

All new bed linen and towels we buy are made from organic cotton.

We avoid buying new when there’s good second hand options.

We recycle all our waste and kindly ask our guests to do the same.

We avoid wasteful and unnecessary use of any product.

Our water is from our own deep well.

Electricity and heating are from 100% renewable sources and bought from a local company.

Our business is completely fossil free as far as we can control it, including car journeys, lawn-mowing etc.

We leave big parts of our garden to grow to benefit biodiversity.
